Dr. Patric Rutherford is a consummate pastor and spiritual leader. He is an ordained minister for the past forty years whose career path has taken him in diverse directions including providing leadership as President and CEO of the Andrews Memorial Hospital. He enjoys preaching the gospel, doing educational presentations on mental health and providing pastoral counseling especially for couples preparing for marriage.
His interest in the influence of mental health on the learning process led him to do his doctorial dissertation research on ‘Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Among Select High Schools in Kingston’ documenting to ill effects of violence on children living in gang infested inner-city communities.
Patric Rutherford holds a bachelor’s degree in theology, a master’s degree in health administration, and a PhD in educational administration. He has worked as a pastor, a hospital administrator, and a university lecturer.
